Please find below the most frequently asked questions (FAQ's).  If you can't find the answer to your specific question, please contact us.

Our standard colour options include Parchment, White, Warm White, Ghost Gum, Ivory, Pale Rose, Silver Grey and Grey Rock.  So long as we can source the coatings, we can offer special colours as well.

The Riva Collection has its own exclusive two-tone colour range.  These colours include Chase Gold (metallic), Ancient Gold (metallic), Champagne (metallic), Gloss Chocolate, Matt Chocolate and White.  Be bold and exciting and mix your colours to meet your mood.

Black attracts a surcharge of 25% due to its high labour-intensive finish.  Black must be buffed and recoated in order to offer the quality associated with Chase Furniture's two-pack, polyurethane finish.

We are often asked to match our client's existing furniture.  If you can supply us with a sample of the colour and/or the name of the coating manufacturer and specific coating colour, we will do our best to match your new Chase Furniture product to your existing pieces of furniture.

We welcome all distributor/retail inquiry.  Some of the product ranges you see on our website are exclusive to certain distributors.  We do, however, have a large General Range as well as our ability to manufacture products to meet your design requirements and budgetary constraints.

We offer trade accounts subject to approval of credit application and offer full dealer support including lead referral based on territory and product selection.

If you would like to discuss becoming a Chase Furniture Reseller, please contact us on 07) 5493 3011 or use our Contact Us form.

We most certainly do!  As a matter of fact, this is the only time we supply directly.  Of course, minimum orders apply to insure the validity of the commercial request.  We also do fitout work for the Designer and Specifier market (architects, interior designers, project managers, etc.)

Although we are happy to supply "off-the-shelf" product lines, we open our design department to cater for made-to-order fitouts to insure your project looks and remains unique to your specifications.  Furthermore, if we create a design for you, it remains yours.

To discuss your next project, please contact us or visit our factory at 32 Production Avenue, Warana, Queensland.

It's clear that in most cases, Australian made products are dearer than imported - especially those from China and newly developing countries whose labour costs are significanly lower than ours.

One of the most compelling reasons to purchase Australian products is to insure continuity for your long-term furniture investment.  Asian manufacturers follow and manufacture to changing global trends.  This may be of benefit today but when you go to purchase an accompanying or replacement item to your existing furniture, you will quite likely find the product range has been discontinued.  Australian manufactures, including Chase Furniture, generally continue to supply products previously manufactured even if they do not expressly advertise them any more.

Another key advantage to Australian made furniture is the ability to manufacture and coat our products to local conditions be they excessive humidity or extremely high UV.  The materials used in furniture vary significantly and knowing which ones to use to cater to Australia's unique climate will insure your investment stands the test of time.

For an independant answer to this important question, check out the article at the Nett website (follow this link).

Chase Furniture is a member of Ausbuy insuring your purchase supports Australian jobs.

Not only do we make custom and made-to-order furniture, Chase prides itself in excelling in this field.  Although we offer standard and mass-produced product lines, our in-house designers as well as our state-of-the-art, computerized machinery allows us to offer custom furniture without the astronomical prices that often come with one-off's.

Please visit our Residential Fitout page and then contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

We recommend using a soft, damp cloth and NEVER use abrasive cleaning products.

Polyurethane is a type of coating and comes in single pack and two pac, also comes as a clear finish or paint.

"Lacquer" generally refers to a nitro-cellulose based coating, usually clear. It's generally single pack but you can get one that is two pack (acid cure).

Medium density fiberboard, or MDF, is a composite wood product similar to particleboard.  It's made out of wood waste fibers glued together with resin, heat, and pressure.  MDF is appropriate for many applications, from cabinetry to moulding, because it is smooth, uniform, and won't warp.

MDF has many advantages over plank wood, particleboard, or high density fiberboard.  It's very smooth because the wood fibers used in its manufacture are uniform and fine.  This makes it have low "tear out," which means that when sawed, the end has a smooth cut instead of a jagged edge.  This also means that a coat of primer and a couple of coats of paint take well, leaving an attractive, finished surface unlike other composite wood products.  MDF also has a mild reaction to moisture, meaning it won't warp or swell in high-humidity applications like a bathroom cabinet.

Builders use MDF in many capacities, such as in furniture, shelving, laminate flooring, decorative moulding, and doors.  They value MDF for its insular qualities in sound and heat.  Also, it can be nailed, glued, screwed, stapled, or attached with dowels, making it as versatile as plank wood.

Reconstituted, engineered wood products like MDF are often covered in a veneer or laminate.  These thin layers of vinyl or real wood disguise the MDF, especially along visible edges.  Some people prefer using MDF over regular timber because it has a lower impact on the environment.

MDF is solely made from waste products, the leftover scraps that would otherwise be dumped in a landfill.  This attraction has helped it gain popularity among homeowners.
